DALLAS, TX February 27, 2001 ATS, Inc. today announced that the City of Grand Prairie, Texas has awarded ATS a contract to develop and implement an intranet solution to distribute Geographic Information System (GIS) data to their internal customers.

ATS was awarded the contract based on their extensive experience and their reputation for developing and implementing web-based GIS projects for municipalities that are similar to those required at the City of Grand Prairie, stated Kyle Spooner, GIS Manager for the City of Grand Prairie. The City has spent a great deal of time, energy and money creating a GIS base map. Providing GIS applications via an intuitive web browser interface is the most efficient and practical way to get our internal customers using GIS technology.

Under this contract, ATS will develop and implement several intranet-based applications using Intergraph's GeoMedia WebMap(r) product. These intranet GIS applications will provide solutions to address the areas of planning, basic infrastructure, utilities, capital improvement, permits and environment services.

This is a nice win for ATS, said Duane Guidry, Director of Sales and Marketing at ATS. The City of Grand Prairie is embracing the future of GIS technology by providing fast and reliable intranet GIS applications to their customers. This award reinforces our firm's focus and our commitment to provide quality web-based GIS solutions to our clients.
