Integrated image delivery system provides intelligent data
archive with Internet retrieval into ESRI’s ArcIMS solutions.
Melbourne, FL, July 5, 2001-ImageLinks (www.imagelinks.com) today announced
a strategic alliance with PixSell (www.pixsell.com), a technology market leader in
Web-enabled ESRI ArcIMS integration services. Through the alliance, the
ImageLinks Active Archive, a turnkey, web-based, customer tailored, image delivery
system, will now be offered in conjunction with PixSell’s customized ArcIMS software
integration services.
"Through this arrangement, ImageLinks and PixSell’s customers can now store,
retrieve, and deliver images across the Internet to their ArcIMS users and eliminate
the need for CDs and costly set-up when delivering raster data," said Dan Latham,
ImageLinks' President and CEO. "Our combination of products meets the needs of
customers who are requiring vast amounts tightly integrated custom imagery stored
in raw state and delivered as a finished product into their Web-based applications."
According to The Gartner Group, 40 percent of the custom image procurement will
be handled via the Internet by 2002. To capitalize on this market opportunity,
ImageLinks and PixSell have shown industry leadership in developing solutions that
will enable their customers to manage repeatable orders via the Internet -
conveniently and efficiently.
