BILLERICA, MA May 29, 2001 Applied Analysis Inc. (AAI) is pleased to announce that Scott Stoodley, Ph.D. will be joining AAI as Director of Environmental Water Quality. Scott comes to AAI from the Oklahoma Conservation Commission where he was responsible for all aspects of the state’s non-point source pollution (NPS) program. He has also worked at the statewide level in watershed assessment, restoration and planning, and NPS total maximum daily load development. Scott received his Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from Oklahoma State University and has numerous publications in the area of riparian best management practices implementation. He is a member of a number of environmental organizations including the American Water Resource Association and the Oklahoma Academy of Sciences.

AAI is launching a remote sensing-based environmental water quality business unit. Scott will be in charge of acquiring and managing major government-funded, and private sector contracts, as well as for monitoring technical contract performance.

“As Director of the Environmental Water Quality Program, Scott will provide critical insight and knowledge of business opportunities within state and local government,” stated Carey Erdman, CEO. “This is a real coup for our environmental geoscience initiative. AAI is very fortunate to have someone of Scott’s stature join our team.”
