FREMONT, Calif., May 30, 2001-- New iLM(TM) 2500 Internet Location Manager Features Smaller Form-Factor, Enhanced Battery Management and Additional Port Configurations

@Road(SM)(Nasdaq:ARDI), a leading provider of location-enhanced wireless Internet services for mobile resource management (MRM), today announced the availability of the new @Road iLM 2500 Internet Location Manager.

The iLM 2500 is designed to provide connectivity to the @Road LocationSmart(TM) network, which combines wireless, positioning and XML technologies with the Internet to power MRM solutions such as @Road FleetASAP(SM).

The iLM 2500, which has been granted equipment authorization by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) relating to the licensed non-broadcast station transmitter equipment class, supports all FleetASAP features including location, monitoring, messaging, reporting and scheduling.

The new unit is reduced to a smaller form-factor, which is designed to simplify and reduce installation time. The iLM 2500 is ruggedized for improved resistance to moisture and dust. New input configurations provide flexibility for added application needs. Additionally, the iLM 2500 power management capability enables users increased flexibility for vehicle battery use and conservation.

"We believe FCC certification demonstrates our company's dedication to delivering best-in-class products and furthers our leadership position in the mobile resource management market," stated Krish Panu, @Road president and CEO.

The @Road iLM 2500 is available at a limited introductory offer price of $349 MSRP until June 30. Pricing includes the iLM 2500, GPS and CDPD antennae and installation. FleetASAP monthly service fees start at $33.95 per month. For more information on this new product and FleetASAP services, call @Road at 877/4ATROAD or visit the Web site at www.atroad.com.

Based in Fremont, @Road is a publicly traded company that provides location-enhanced wireless Internet solutions for mobile resource management (MRM). Its patented LocationSmart technology platform combines wireless, positioning and XML technologies with the Internet into a fully integrated network that supports the delivery of location-enhanced wireless Internet services for businesses and mobile professionals.
