ASI Announces Appointment Of Tom Bannon To Executive Management Team

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - September 28, 2001, Norm Rokosh, President and CEO of Analytical Surveys, Inc. (ASI) (Nasdaq: ANLT) announced today the appointment of Tom Bannon, as Senior Vice President, Utility Operations. In this capacity, Tom will lead the Company's utility operations, with a focus on operational leadership and project/program management. Additionally, Bannon will contribute to ASI's on-going technology innovation efforts for the utility markets. He will be based in ASI's San Antonio, TX Solution Center.
In announcing the appointment, Norm Rokosh, said, "I am very excited about the addition of Tom to our management team. His track record is very impressive and his skills strongly compliment those of our senior level group." Mr. Bannon's background spans more than 15 years in the geospatial industry, and includes substantial experience in operational management, complex problem solving, and resource planning. Most recently, Mr. Bannon was Vice President-Chief Operations Officer-Global Delivery and Executive Program Director for the Convergent Group and SchlumbergerSema respectively.
In enhancing the operations effort for ASI Bannon said, "I am very excited to join the ASI team to help implement a vision which addresses future information requirements as well as supports traditional spatial data needs."
