LIZARDTECH APPOINTS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Executive Adds Valuable Management Experience to Leading Imaging Solutions

SEATTLE, January 9, 2002 ( LizardTech, Inc. announced today the appointment
of Case Kuehn as vice president and chief financial officer. Kuehn will
direct the financial planning and resource allocation for LizardTech's
leading image, digital document and server solutions.
Kuehn brings extensive high-tech and financial experience to LizardTech.
Kuehn came from Crossport Systems where he previously served as COO/CFO,
authoring the business plan for Pivio(tm) Network Security System. Before
Crossport, Kuehn was CFO at ZoneNetwork.com, publisher of MountainZone.com,
where he facilitated private funding efforts and the eventual sale of the
company to Quokka Sports. Immediately prior, he was CFO of PhotoWorks
(formerly Seattle FilmWorks, NASDAQ: FOTO). In addition, Kuehn has direct
experience with outside counsel, institutional investors, the SEC, and
federal and state tax authorities and as a financial consultant for both
Price Waterhouse Coopers (formerly Price Waterhouse) and Bank One
Corporation (formerly First National Bank of Chicago). Kuehn has a Master of
Management degree with majors in both finance and marketing from the Kellogg
Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
