BEN Student Design Competition 2002 Open for Entries

    January 10, 2002 - The Bentley Education Network (BEN) is now accepting entries for this year's Student Design Competition. The contest is open to all students of secondary and accredited post-secondary schools. All required materials for all entries must be received by April 29, 2002, and the winners will be announced May 22, 2002, at the 2002 Bentley International User Conference.

    The BEN Student Design Competition 2002 includes six categories:

    Architecture
    Mechanical Engineering
    Civil/Transportation Engineering
    Plant Engineering
    Mapping/GIS
    Animation and Freeform/Artistic Expression

    Competition winners will include one grand prize winner and six first place category winners:

    Grand Prize:

    $1500US
    One-year BEN Classroom Subscription (maximum-10 seats) donated to the winner's school in the student's name
    One BEN product kit
    Engraved trophy
    "Gallery" feature in MSM
    Project images published in collateral published for 2002 Student Design Competition

    First Prize for Each Category:

    $250US
    Engraved plaque
    Project images published in collateral published to Web for 2002 Student Design Competition
