The Miracle-Gro Capital Scholars @ COSI Program (MGCS) offers fifty Columbus City High School students after-school and summer opportunities that foster greater educational, social and decision-making skills to prepare them to be tomorrow’s leaders.
Participants in the MGCS program who maintain a 2.5 GPA, attend MGCS programs regularly, and complete high school are eligible to receive full college tuition to an Ohio college or university, paid for by the Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation. The operation of the program is financially supported by the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, the Hagedorn Family Partnership L.P., and the City of Columbus, Mayor’s Office of Education.
“The MGCS@COSI program is important to me because it provides an opportunity for me to look toward my future.” - Alexxus Our Mission The MGCS program helps students take their knowledge and interpersonal skills to new levels.
