 Science at Special Events
With many different programs designed to engage children in the wonders of science, COSI On Wheels can provide a great supplement to camps, libraries, fairs, and festivals. For pricing and availability for special events, use the online reservation form. Available for all COSI On Wheels outreach programs
1) Full program A full program provides a dynamic 45-minute stage show developed around a specific topic and 10 different hands-on activities to engage participants of your special event. 2) Live Science Demo A stand alone, 45-minute science demo from any of the program topics is a great way to bring amazing science to your audience. 3) Hands-on Science Stations (full version) Let participants explore 10 different hands-on activities from any program topic (requires the help of 15-20 volunteers for the duration of the event). If the event is outdoors, a covered location is required to protect equipment from sun and rain. 4) Hands-on Science Stations (partial version) Let participants explore 5 different hands-on activities from any program topic (requires the help of 8-10 volunteers for the duration of the event). If the event is outdoors, a covered location is required to protect equipment from sun and rain. |
