Rocket Launch

Suggestion Help your toddler to push the button on the exhibit and then watch what happens. Ask open ended questions such as "Where does the rocket go?" and " Why does the rocket fall back down to the base?"
Concept The exhibit helps your child observe the concept of cause and effect.

Fact A young child's persistent "why" questions show that they are beginning to link cause and effect.

Mercury Capsule

Suggestion Take a ride with your toddler in the Mercury Capsule. Encourage him to push the buttons and ask him "What does that button do?" or
"How does the rocket sound?"
Concept The Mercury Capsule is a good activity to help toddlers experience
the concept of cause and effect.
