COSI Academy

Thank you for your interest in COSI Academy! All available slots for the 2009-2010 school year have been filled. For information about future availability, please email Amy Parker.

COSI Academy is a career exploration program for high school-age students (Grades 9-12) interested in science, technology, engineering, math, and health careers (STEM+H).

COSI Academy students meet at COSI on the first Saturday of each month from October to May. Each meeting includes a field trip to area labs and technology companies, or to colleges and universities offering science programs. In addition to monthly meetings and field trips during the school year, COSI Academy students take two day-long field trips to facilities outside of central Ohio and one multi-day trip to out-of-state destinations.*

Check out what COSI Academy members have been up to on their Ning social networking website!

“I've been obsessed with science for as long as I can remember. I have an innate need to understand the world around me. Although some of that need is met through advanced science classes and independent study, nothing has opened me to the world of science like COSI Academy... COSI Academy has given me more opportunities than I'd have ever dreamed of, and I've loved every minute of it.”
– Laura, Dublin Coffman Senior

Tuition: Annual COSI Academy tuition includes all monthly meetings and monthly field trips: $250 for COSI Members; $275 for non-members. Scholarships are available. * Please note there are additional costs for participation in COSI Academy's extended day-long and multi-day field trips. Download an application form (PDF) or a financial aid form (PDF).

Unable to commit to yearlong tuition? Contact COSI about attending individual Saturday programs.
