Workshops for Grade Pre-K- 8 Teachers
Meet other teachers for inquiry-based lessons that you can use with your students through a two-day COSI Teacher Workshop. One semester hour of Ashland University or Ohio State University graduate credit is available for an additional fee for each 2-day workshop.
All Summer 2008 Teacher Workshops support the following Ohio Academic Content Standards in addition to the standards identified below: Science & Technology 3.1, 5.2; Scientific Inquiry 3.1-6, 4.1-6, 5.1-6, 6.1-4, 7.1-4, 7.7, 8.1, 8.3-4.
June 16-17, 2008 ~ Inquiry Into Chemical & Physical Change

Grades 2-7 Two-Day Workshop

Make and take weather instruments. Use process skills to predict the weather. Offered in partnership with Franklin County Metro Parks. 8am-4pm (both days), $90.
