COSI Toledo |

On December 31, 2007, COSI Toledo closed it doors and ceased all operations. Those of us at COSI Columbus were very disappointed to see this happen and are saddened for the many talented colleagues who lost their positions.
We are discovering that in some instances, technical coordinators and teachers have not been notified that Toledo closed. We are fielding many calls about performing the shows COSI Toledo used to offer.
Our two organizations had split all business functions and had become two completely separate legal entities in April 2006. Because of this split, COSI Columbus has no legal right to any property of COSI Toledo, up to and including scripts, props, equipment and proprietary show information.
While we would love to help those of you that had reservations with COSI Toledo, we do not have the capacity to reproduce their shows at this time. We are trying to offer similar content wherever possible.

In Depth: Autopsy & Gadget Works Programs |

 The COSI schedule is filling fast for late winter and spring. If you are interested in scheduling an Autopsy program, please see the dates below that still have openings.
Also, Gadget Works is very popular! Don't get left out...
reserve your program.
Gadget Works programs can be requested through our online reservation system on the date and time that you choose. To request a show, confirm on the online calendar that the date and time of choice are available by clicking on the date.
When the date page opens, please note that shows already scheduled have a dark gray box on the left side of the screen indicating when that connection ends. If COSI is free for the desired time, scroll to the bottom of the screen and select "Request a show not scheduled." |

Each hour long event listed below begins with a 30-40 minute presentation by the Expert followed by questions taken from middle and high school students (unless specifically indicated as an elementary program).

Surgical Suite: Total Knee Replacement Schedule |

A prepped patient, a bonesaw, and a surgeon in the zone.
All remote connections for Surgical Suite: Total Knee Replacement are sold out. Check for available seats in COSI's Galaxy Theater. For grades 6-12.
Total Knee dates have ‘hold’ slots in them. These are for rescheduling schools that are forced to cancel due to weather. If you sign up for a program that has a 'hold,' but all other slots are booked, you will be put on a waiting list.
If the 'hold' slots are not used for rescheduling, we will offer the first schools on the waiting list a chance to participate in the program about 4-6 weeks in advance of the date of the program. |
