ArcView 3.2
For those of you, like me, who are still impressed with the
excellent upgrade that was found in ArcView 3.1 last year,
hold on because ArcView 3.2 is now out. Numerous
improvements have been made to the product as well as the
addition of numerous new features. Here's what you can
expect:
~ A projection utility for shapefiles (this has been a long time
coming!)
~ Updated report writing with Crystal Reports 7
~ Support for DXF export
~ SDTS data import utility
~ CAD reader compatible with ACAD 2000
~ Connectivity to any ODBC complient database
~ Improved SDE database access
~ Updated ESRI Data & Maps
Since data is such a hot issue to many of us, lets look at the
updates that are found in the new data and maps.
~ Updated 5 digit 1999 zip code polygons and points
~ Updated GDT Dynamap/2000 roads file
~ Updated GDT major water bodies file
~ Updated GDT Dynamap landmark data which includes parks,
transportation facilities, institutions, airports, and retail
centers.
~ Area code boundaries
~ 1995 municipal boundaries
~ Ecological regions
~ WorldSat 4km satelite imagery
