GITA XXIII
March 26-29, 2000 Denver, CO

INTERNATIONAL MARKETING WORKSHOP AT GITA
GITA Corporate members and other interested persons will have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with two important international markets while at the Annual Conference in Denver. A special International Market Workshop will be offered from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning in Room A208 of the Colorado Convention Center, prior to the opening of the exhibits.

Lothar Kreutzwald and Marc Daniels, representatives of LANDSCAPE GmbH, will conduct an orientation to the German GIS marketplace beginning at 9:00 a.m. LANDSCAPE GmbH is a German marketing organization that specializes in facilitating business between North American and German companies, and is the publisher of Business Geomatics, Germany’s most widely read GIS trade journal. Lothar and Marc will introduce you to a variety of effective ways to successfully navigate the Autobahn to Europe’s most dynamic market!

At 9:30 a.m., Duda Escobar of Alcantara Machado, a Brazilian conference organizer, will introduce you to the significant opportunities available in the Brazilian GIS market. Come find out why you should consider exhibiting at GEOBrasil2000, a major GIS event that will take place June 12-16 in Saő Paulo, Brazil. GITA is the exclusive international sponsor of this important conference, and we will conduct three of our educational seminars in conjunction with it. We will also provide assistance to GITA corporate members who wish to take part in the exhibit. The founder of this conference, Emerson Granemann, is also the publisher of the most influential and widely read Portuguese language GIT magazine - infoGEO. Duda and Emerson will be on hand to answer your questions about how best to maximize your participation in GEOBrasil2000 and leverage the cooperation between GITA and infoGEO to your company’s global strategic advantage.

The International Marketing Workshop is an excellent way to learn more about two key GIS markets - Germany and Brazil - during your time in Denver. If international business expansion is in your company’s plans, this will be time well spent!
