What's Involved In Submitting An Application?
First, there is no formal form or application form (unless applying for an extension to stay, this requires INS form I-129).
An application package must be put together containing appropriate supporting documentation.
Here's what a package should contain:
- Official cover letter written by a hiring authority/official
- Financial statements from the hiring agency to substantiate their existence
- Detailed job description stating that some specialize knowledge is necessary
- Outline specific job duties
- Need for a degree holding individual
- Proof of temporary need for employee (state in offer letter that employment is "temporary" and that
relocation expenses will be covered"
- College transcripts
- Copy of passports
- Copy of original offer letter stating arrangements for renumeration
- Cover letter listing package contents
