Canadians working in the U.S. and Obtaining a TN Visa

I'm going to the border... any advice?
- Dress Nicely (but don't overdo it!)
- Be sure you have all your documents (triple check this before hand)
- Call in advance to ensure a TN official will be there
- Wait patiently
- Don't speak unless spoken to
- Answer questions as briefly as possible (yes sir, no mam, etc...)
- Bring exact change in the proper currency (ie. $56 US)
- Don't freak out if you are denied. You can always try again in a few days or go to another crossing.
- Bite your tongue and don't get flustered... the border crossing and the officials can be very intimidating.
- Do your homework and sound knowledgeable
