    Girls Discover...Engineering!
    A day-long engineering program for girls in grades 6-8

    Girls Discover...Engineering! is an annual day-long career exploration program at COSI for girls in grades 6-8.

    Girls meet women engineers, discover that engineering can be an exciting and rewarding career for women, and have a great time learning and meeting new friends!
    Girls Discover at COSI
    Girls Discover...Engineering! participants will:
    - Participate in hands-on activities and informative sessions led by professional women engineers.
    - Explore engineering careers through hands-on workshops.
    - Talk with young women studying to be engineers and find out how and why they made their career choices.
    Girls Discover...Engineering! program details:
     
    • Program begins at 8:30 am and ends at 3:15 pm.
     
    • The cost ($35 per person) includes two workshops, lunch, a souvenir t-shirt, and admission to COSI's permanent exhibitions after the program.
     
    • An expanded number of scholarships are available.
     
    • Advance reservations are required and space is limited.
