| Big Machines Arrive at COSI June 13 |

Bulldozers, dump trucks, and backhoes are making their way into COSI’s backyard for the Science of Big Machines open June 13-21.
Climb aboard these monstrous machines, talk to engineers, and learn how heavy construction equipment works in this popular summer exhibit.
Big Machines is made possible by the Ohio Contractors Association and the Operating Engineers Apprenticeship and Training, and is presented by Bob Evans. Media support provided by 95.5 The Hawk and Wink 107.1. |

| Watch COSI Dig a New Rain Garden |
|
|
|
On June 16, watch a mini-excavator in action as COSI builds a new rain garden to help reduce pollution from storm water runoff.
The rain garden, part of COSI's sustainability efforts, will allow rain runoff to percolate slowly into the ground instead of flowing directly into storm drains and our rivers. This process helps remove pollutants and allows the water to cool down before it enters the ground. Excavation starts at 10am on June 16th outside COSI's entrance (weather permitting).
