| C'mon, What Are You Afraid Of? |

Why do our hearts race, our knees shake, and our bodies sweat when we are scared? Goose Bumps! The Science of Fear, a new traveling exhibit, explores this universal emotion that can save our lives. Through fun, interactive challenges, visitors can experience fear in a safe environment and discover the science behind their physical and emotional responses. The exhibit opens at COSI on Saturday, February 9, 2008 and runs though May 4, 2008. Goose Bumps! is included with the price of COSI admission and is free for members.

Celebrate NASA's 50th Anniversary at COSI
February 20 & 21, 2008
For two days COSI will host special exhibits from NASA including models of the rockets in the Constellation program, images from the International Space Station, a replica of the Mars Exploration Rover, and more!
On Thursday, February 21, COSI will add additional activities including "Astronaut Encounter" a live show demonstrating concepts related to space exploration, followed by a Q & A session with a NASA astronaut.
Come after school on February 21, 2008! COSI is open extended hours until 6pm. |
