Journey back in time when Greece: Secrets of the Past opens January 2nd on COSI's 7-story Extreme Screen. Through the eyes of the film's detective scientists, the film explores two equally fascinating periods in Greek history: the "Bronze Age" and the "Golden Age."
Set against the breathtaking, azure vistas of the Greek Isles, the film merges a contemporary archeological "detective story" with some of the most advanced and painstaking digital re-creations ever undertaken for a giant screen film.
Member Preview Saturday, January 12, 2008, 10am Enjoy a complimentary screening of Greece: Secrets of the Past. Space is limited. Call 614.228.COSI to reserve your spot. |

Face Your Fears
Why do our hearts race, our knees shake, and our bodies sweat when we are scared? Goose Bumps! The Science of Fear, a new exhibit opening at COSI on February 9th, explores this universal emotion that can save our lives. Through fun, interactive challenges, you can experience fear in a safe environment and discover the science behind your physical and emotional responses.
"This is the first comprehensive exhibit on fear that engages visitors with fun experiences that trigger an authentic fear response and then motivates them to learn how the brain and body work together in response to danger," says Dr. David Bibas, California Science Center Curator of Technology Programs and exhibit organizer for Goose Bumps!
Goose Bumps! runs from February 9th through May 4th and is free with COSI exhibit admission. |
