SPRINT TEAMS WITH GO2 SYSTEMS TO DELIVER LOCATION-BASED DIRECTORY ON THE WIRELESS WEB
Sprint PCS Customers Nationwide Can Now Access Real-World Locations Via Sprint PCS Internet-Ready Phones

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Feb. 28, 2000 - Sprint PCS (NYSE: PCS), the nation's fastest growing wireless provider, and Go2 Systems Inc., the originator of Go2™, the first global addressing and locator system designed for the Internet and portable devices, today announced the immediate nationwide availability of Go2 Systems' location-based technology and information services on Sprint PCS Internet-ready Phones. Sprint PCS Wireless Web customers now have clear access to Go2's real-world location services virtually anytime, anywhere on the Sprint PCS all-digital, all-PCS nationwide wireless network.

"Sprint PCS is excited to deliver Go2's intuitive location-based technology and content that will help our customers get clear directions to help them find whatever they're looking for from virtually anywhere, anytime, nationwide," said Charles Levine, chief sales and marketing officer for Sprint PCS. "Go2's focus on delivering intuitive real-world searches, turn-by-turn directions and other location-based information to Wireless Web customers adds value to the clear benefits of Sprint PCS' nationwide voice and data services."

"Go2's location technology is specifically designed for wireless devices and the wireless market," said Lee Hancock, president and founder of Go2 Systems Inc. "Sprint PCS' recognition of our contribution to the wireless location market is a significant validation of our leadership position."

While using a Sprint PCS Internet-ready Phone, customers can access Go2's location-based directory which provides users with local yellow pages information, one touch phone calls, driving directions to destinations and a host of other useful tools such as movie times and weather updates.

Sprint PCS customers can access proximity-ranked listings of more than 11 million real-world stores and destinations by accessing Go2's services while using the Minibrowser on any Sprint PCS Internet-ready Phone. Go2 provides specific, real-time information such as store hours and details on where to park, all based on the user's precise location or intended destination.

Additionally, Sprint PCS Wireless Web customers can access any of the more than 300 topic-specific Go2 Web sites, such as Go2hotels.com, Go2restaurants.com and Go2banks.com, as well as Go2's brand-specific Web sites, such as Go2jiffylube.com and Go2johnnyrockets.com while using their Sprint PCS Internet-ready Phone. These Go2 Web sites provide turn-by-turn directions for real-world locations, phone numbers, addresses, coupons and information based on proximity to the Sprint PCS customer's location.

Sprint PCS launched its Sprint PCS Wireless Web service in late September 1999, offering customers a suite of simple, user-friendly wireless data products and services. By using Internet-ready Sprint PCS Phones, customers can now shop, trade stocks online, browse select Internet-based content in real time, receive automatic personalized news features, weather, stock quotes, and e-mail updates, and connect to the Internet or corporate Intranet by using their Sprint PCS Phone in place of a modem.
