Geo-Spatial Industry NewsMagazine #18

Hello again from the GeoCommunity. Hopefully you've been having an excellent summer. It's hard to believe that the kids will be headed back to school very shortly! Speaking of school, we've been hard at work this month digging up interesting feature content, many of which have been focussed on GIS in education. These and a number of other new GIS and geo-spatial feature articles are featured in this month's GeoCommunity NewsMagazine. We hope you enjoy, and as always, please feel free to suggest a future feature article or provide us with your comments. For those of you receiving our monthly GIS NewsMagazine for the first time, welcome... there are now over 12,000 of you! If you were one of the many people we met at last month's ESRI User Conference held in beautiful San Diego, we hope you are wearing your GeoComm T-Shirt to work at least once a week! If you didn't get a chance to view our comprehensive summaries from the show, visit our ESRI UC 2000 Page for details.
