SpatialNews Anywhere!
|
Hello again from the GeoCommunity. It's hard to believe that summer has come and gone - mind you, for those of us
located in Florida, we've got a couple of more months of summer left! This month, we've highlighted a number
of features that have been received very favorably over the past couple of weeks including a survey of
GIS employees attitudes about their jobs and a poll of GIS professionals view towards the candidates vying
for the US presidency. Our top news stories focus on new product announcements and we highlight a number of
conferences taking place during September. Something we are very excited about is the release of SpatialNews Anywhere!
For those of you that use Palm or Windows CE hand-held devices, SpatialNews headlines and features are now available
via the first AvantGo channel catering to the GIS industry. And, speaking of mobile applications, this month we take a look at
Autodesk's mobile mapping application - Autodesk OnSite.
