ArcView Tip - Import71 utility does not complete
Problem: Certain ARC/INFO coverages cannot be imported into ArcView using the Import71 utility. There is
not a size limit to an e00 file for the Import71 utility, but a newer version of a dll for the import71 utility
fixes this problem.
Solution:
This is a suggested workaround if your coverage does not complete with the Import71 utility provided
in ArcView. There is a new Import71.exe on the www.esri.com site which contains a new dll than the one that
exists in the exe in ArcView. Here is where one can find this new exe.

Often after creating a new MWF file, you cannot see it when it is opened in MapGuide
Author. To make it visible:
First open the newmap.mwf file that is included with the software.
Right-click anywhere in the map window, and choose Select from the shortcut menu.
Choose Select Map Objects, and choose All in the dialog box.
Click OK to exit.
Now, right click on the map window again, and select Zoom from the shortcut menu.
Under Zoom, choose Zoom Selected and you will automatically be zoomed to the extents of all the selected images.
