SnapTrack Appoints Bret Sewell as Senior Vice President and General Manager
CAMPBELL, Calif., Apr 16, 2001 -- SnapTrack, Inc., a subsidiary company of QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), today
announced the promotion of Bret Sewell to senior vice president and general manager for SnapTrack. Sewell formerly held the post of vice president for
worldwide sales and customer operations for the Company's wireless position location products and solutions.

Sewell has supported SnapTrack for four years by building business relationships with SnapTrack's global customers and partners, and managed
SnapTrack's worldwide field organization. Fluent in Japanese, Sewell has 18 years of international technology sales, marketing and management
experience, including starting and building successful international divisions for major telecommunications systems companies such as Octel
Communications and Aspect Telecommunications. He received a master's degree in international studies from the Lauder Institute of International
Management, an MBA from The Wharton School, and an undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
