STEVE PHIPPS ELECTED PARTNER AT WOOLPERT
DAYTON, Ohio (April 24, 2001)… Stephen P. Phipps was recently elected partner of
Woolpert LLP. With more than 15 years of experience in the mapping and geographic
information systems (GIS) industry, Phipps will continue to be an integral part of the
Woolpert tradition and vision.
Phipps has worked for Woolpert since 1988 and is currently the director of the
GIS/Information Technology group. His responsibilities include directing GIS
managers, monitoring contract compliance and quality control procedures, and ensuring
that schedules and budgets are met. Furthermore, Phipps has an extensive background
in ArcInfo programming, database design, system maintenance, and GIS-related
consulting services. He is a graduate of the University of Akron, where he received a
B.S. in Geology.

services consulting firm providing expertise in facilities planning and design,
geographic information systems/information technology, photogrammetry, site/civil
