Analytical Surveys Announces Appointment of Allen Richard to
Business Development Team
INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - April 3, 2001 - Analytical Surveys, Inc. (ASI)
(Nasdaq: ANLT) has announced the appointment of Allen "Al" Richard as
Regional Director of Sales. As the newest member of ASI's business
development team, Richard will be leading ASI's market development and sales
management effort focusing on the utilities and telecommunications markets
in the southeast region of the United States. In addition to overseeing
development of these key markets, Richard will be identifying specific
opportunities for ASI's enterprise offerings including data capture and
conversion, planning, implementation, advanced data distribution strategies,
and maintenance services. Indianapolis, Indiana-based ASI is a leading
provider of expert services and total solutions for all aspects of
geospatial data management.
Prior to joining ASI, Richard was a Regional Sales Manager for Rasterex
International, a supplier of technical image management software. Richard
has over 15 years of broad-based experience in the information technology
industry with specific expertise in developing and selling total solutions
for enterprise resource planning (ERP), outsourcing and for a variety of
software environments, the Internet, and LAN as well as WAN configurations.
Richard is also skilled at identifying and developing markets for solutions
that incorporate advanced tools such as digital imaging and raster to vector
scanning applications.
