COSI Brings the Farm to the City!

Experience big farm fun at COSI! The 5th annual Farm Days: Little Seeds, Big Tractors opens Wednesday, July 15th, and runs through Sunday, July 19th. More than 20 pieces of farming equipment including a huge combine will be on display downtown on COSI's English Plaza and Washington Blvd.

Visitors can climb into the cabs of tractors, lawn and garden equipment and more. You can even see how equipment has changed over the years as antique John Deere tractors will also be on display.

Meet the farmer that grows your food and find out how it makes its way from farm to the store to the table. New for 2009, come enjoy the best produce Ohio has to offer! COSI is partnering with the Pearl Alley Grower's Association to bring you a Farmer's Market Friday through Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.

Kids can test their driving skills on a pedal tractor obstacle course, milk a fiberglass cow, and make a seed necklace to take home. Visitors can also conduct a soil test and view bio-diesel and ethanol demonstrations.

Play the "Path of a Farmer" game. Visitors can try to manage their own farm as they travel the "Path of a Farmer" and learn about the partners and resources needed to be a successful farmer. Don't miss collecting a set of free Farm Days trading cards. Each card represents equipment, crops, and more that an Ohio farmer would use.
