Information COSI.org Collects

Personal Information

Our web site allows educators (e.g., teachers, troop leaders) to reserve COSI activities for their class or group such as COSI on Wheels, Camp-In, or Electronic Education. Educators may reserve these activities by completing an online reservation form and providing us with information such as their name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, school or troop number.

Guests may purchase or renew their COSI membership online by completing a membership purchase form which requests information including name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, and credit card information. In order to purchase or renew a COSI membership online, you must have a valid credit card.

Guests may purchase tickets for exhibits, films, and events other than membership through the COSI Online Store, but these tickets will be purchased directly from a third-party vendor and not from COSI. Any personal information that you provide when purchasing these types of tickets (including name, address, email address, telephone number, and credit card information) will be subject to the terms of the privacy policy of this third-party vendor. To learn how this third-party vendor will use your personal information, you should review its privacy policy which is a link on the page where you will provide your personal information for tickets. The third-party vendor that sells these tickets has agreed to provide your name, address, and email address to COSI.

If you email us a question or comment using the email links on our web site, we will temporarily collect your email address.
