@Road Names Thomas C. Hoster as Chief Financial OfficerFREMONT, Calif., Dec. 2, 1999 - @Road(TM) Inc. Thursday announced that Thomas C. Hoster has joined the company as vice president and chief financial officer.@Road is a leading Internet information services company that delivers location-specific e-commerce solutions to the mobile workforce and the communities they serve by using a patented technology that combines the Internet, the Global Positioning System (GPS) and wireless data networks. Hoster brings more than 25 years of financial management experience to his new role with @Road, and will oversee the company's finance, human resources, investor relations and legal functions. He has also served in financial management positions with Octel Communications, Chemical Bank and Mid-America Federal. Hoster has a B.S.E. degree in electrical engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford University.
