New Year's Eve Parents' Night Out Overnight Program

Register for COSI's New Year's Eve Overnight Program for children ages 9-14! This exciting overnight program includes amazing science and fun - plus a chance to spend the night at COSI! Includes dinner, refreshments, COSI exhibitions, and breakfast the following morning. Program time is 6pm to 10am the following morning. Experience the Joys of Toys: Trains

Friday 4pm-9pm, Saturday 10am-4pm

The weekend before Christmas will feature three different train layouts from the Central Ohio Model Railroad Club, The Columbus Garden Railway Society and the Central Ohio O-Scale Engineers - something for all ages! Plus, a visit from Clifford, The Big Red Dog (5pm-7pm on Friday and 10am-Noon on Saturday). All activities will be held in COSI's Gallery One.

For two days we will celebrate the creativity that can be uniquely expressed with LEGOS and other building toys with our special guest, the Toy and Plastic Brick Museum from Bellaire, Ohio who will bring special displays and loads of plastic bricks to build with. Plus meet COSI's own RATiO mascot.

"THE FOUR CONVERSATIONS" Reading & Coaching Group Series at COSI

Get maximum results from the conversations every one of us must use to get things done. Participants in this six-part series at COSI will learn how to engage in the right conversation at the right time, including planning, starting, and finishing every conversation effectively.

PRESENTER: Dr. Jeffrey D. Ford
Associate Professor of Management & Human Resources
The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business

Professor Ford's research focuses on breakdowns in communications links and the role of communications in organizational behavior and change. His work has been published in the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management Education and Journal of Marketing Research. He was elected as a charter member in the Academy of Management Journal's Hall of Fame. He also received the Academy's Bronze Award for research and a Best Paper Award. Dr. Ford is a frequent consultant to organizations such as Intel and Mead Paper.

COST: All six sessions are $120 per person, including a box lunch at each (book the series without box lunch for $75).
