2D Illusions

Optical illusions have been around for a long time.  One of the first people to notice them was Aristotle in the 4th century BC.  Some illusions involve limitations to our senses.  Most are cognitive in origin and involve our minds putting things together or adding to sensory input.  Do you see black dots in the white spots where the lines intersect?
