Central High School: The Pirates
COSI's building sits on the site that was once the location of Central High School. Part of that original structure is incorporated into COSI's facility. The East Entrance is the original school entrance, and the original staircase remains. Central High School opened in the 1920's and finally closed its doors in 1982. The spirit of school and its alumni are featured in an exhibit showcase inside COSI.
