Suggestion Allow your child to play with the vegetables and the scale available at the market. What does your child do with the vegetables? Does the toddler pick up a variety of the veggies or just a handful of one type? Does he or she want to weigh them? Encourage her actions.
Concept Interaction with simple props will help your child improve the ability to interact in social and physical environments.
Fact Simple pleasurable movements with objects, people, and language characterize functional play.

Suggestion Ask your toddler to describe a person of that era. Let him use words like"tall" or "pretty." Encourage the toddler to relate the picture to himself.
