Life (1/2 Hour)
Rediscover life from different perspectives. From examining broken bones to watching surgery being performed or hearing stories of birth and death, this exhibit aimed at older children and adults, takes you through birth to death and everything in-between.
Mind Show (15 minutes)
Perfect for young adults. This show helps them explore the world of optical illusions. Do you trust what your mind tells you? Should you? In this show, you cannot always believe your eyes.
Extreme Screen Theater (45 minutes)
A can’t miss at COSI. This 7-story Extreme Screen and theater bring the wonders of the world close to home. Nature, History, Science and Extreme Sports are just a few of the themes that bring the magic of the movies to life with breathtaking cinematography. Most films are appropriate for children of all ages.
Progress (1/2 Hour)
Travel through time from 1898 to 1962. See the advances in technology that made life easier as time went on, from the electric lights and telegraph office of the “olden days” to the brand new miracle product “the microwave” and the unmistakable car of the early 60’s.
Chemistry LIVE! (15 minutes)
Young adults can experience chemical and physical changes in COSI's most combustible and explosive show.
Space (30 minutes)
An exhibit entry that’s out of this world! Once you enter through the dizzying black hole of Space, you can ride in a space capsule, test your skills as an “armchair” astronaut, or maneuver a rover through a Martian landscape.
High Wire Unicycle (15 minutes)
Something thrilling for parents and children! COSI features the world’s only high wire unicycle giving children & adults a chance to defy gravity as they make a trip across the spacious Atrium traveling on one thin wire. Riders must weigh no more than 250 pounds.
Big Science Park (30 minutes - seasonal)
This laboratory in the sun is proof that science is anything but boring with larger than life activities designed to let your inner scientist stomp around and shout out loud. Lift a car with the help of a lever, move a 2.5-ton granite sphere, play with air pressure.
