Employment Application


The minimum age requirement for applying is 16 years old, however most positions require a minimum age of at least 18 years old.  Each job description includes the age requirement and should be reviewed carefully.  High school students must provide a work permit during the interview process.  COSI also has a very active Adult & Teen Volunteer Program.  Please call the Volunteer and Community Resource Office at 614.629.3196 for more information.

Each application must specify a desired open position(s) you wish to apply for.   Applications or resumes received without a specific position listed will not be considered.  Please do not submit unsolicited materials as they will be discarded.  All materials submitted become the property of COSI and cannot be returned.

3) CALL the COSI JOBLINE at 614-629-3195 to have an application mailed to you
4) VISIT COSI to pick up or turn in an application or resume at the COSI Job Board
5) DOWNLOAD the PDF version of the COSI application and mail or fax it in

Applications and resumes are kept active until the position is filled.  Once a position has been filled, applications are retained for two years from the date received.  During this two year period, potential candidates may update or renew applications or resumes (see the Potential Applicant Letter for details).  COSI will not automatically review resumes on file for new openings; potential candidates should monitor our advertising, website, and Jobline and then express interest in being considered for a particular opening.

One application or resume and cover letter may be used when applying for multiple positions, but all positions being applied for must be specified.  Positions will remain posted until filled unless a deadline is specified.  If you are selected for a position with COSI, you must be able to provide documentation proving your eligibility to work in the United States.  In accordance with COSI policy, positions are subject to criminal background checks and other employment verification requirements.

The criteria for being considered a COSI job applicant is as follows:

1. Must apply for a posted job opening.
2. Must follow our written application procedures (listed above).
3. Must meet minimum qualifications indicated on the posting.
4. Must not have withdrawn from consideration.
