Objective
Using Access software, develop a database and related processes that will track information related to institutional research and evaluation projects.
Education and Experience
a. Working knowledge of Access software.
b. Good organizational skills.
c. Ability to communicate well a variety of team members.
d. Ability to write and format basic documents.
Essential Job Functions
COSI is increasingly implementing research and evaluation projects in order to better inform development and operation of exhibits, programs, and other experiences. COSI seeks to build a database that will organize and track detail about each research and evaluation project. The intern will work with the Research and Evaluation Director as well as the wider COSI team to develop processes for collecting information from the team regarding research and evaluation projects, build the database using Access software, and develop process for ongoing maintenance of the database.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of Strategy Team Members, the Strategy Team Intern duties may include:
a. Data entry.
b. Reorganization of electronic and paper file systems.
c. Support for in-house training classes (e.g., logistics arrangement, copying and preparing materials)
