5) How do youth volunteers get started?
Follow the instructions listed here. As soon as we receive your completed application, we will then call for a phone interview. Following a successful interview, you will be asked to interview in person and perform your practical demonstration (as outlined in the application). If you are selected after your interview and practical demonstration, you will be invited to attend the next youth orientation.

7) What is youth orientation like?
It is a one day orientation where youth volunteers learn about the business of COSI, expectations of volunteers, available volunteer assignments, rights and responsibilities, recognition and benefits, and become more knowledgeable about the building. Volunteers are then assigned to an area of the building where they will receive area specific training on their first day.

Upon receipt of your application, you will be invited to attend an upcoming Information Session. There you will hear about all the great opportunities COSI has to offer. If you like what you hear, we will hold on the spot interviews. If we find that we're a good match, you will advance to the training sessions with the COSI Team. Learn how to apply!
