New! Plant Solutions for Global Problems

This program connects learners for a live two-way interaction with a COSI educator and a PhD fellow from the Translational Plant Sciences PhD program at The Ohio State University. During this hour long connection, students will learn about careers in plant sciences while exploring the role of plants in the food system, as bioproducts, and through plant/microbe interactions

With the help of a grant from the American Society of Plant Biologists, Plant Solutions for Global Problems may be available at no cost. A limited number of scholarships will be awarded in the 2018-2019 school year to eligible organizations or schools. Eligibility is determined by the percentage of students enrolled in the federal free and reduced-price meal program. Click below to apply for financial assistance.
